But, joking aside, we highly recommend keeping washing since it is entirely the best way to get rid of germs. Hand sanitisers have flooded us, but they are generally not heat stable and can be quite corrosive to skin and metal substances. What’s worse, we’ve been worn about products found to contain methanol and/or 1-propanol, another form of alcohol that should not be used in hand sanitisers. Solution? Stick to soap! And since we’ve used hand sanitiser ONLY because it’s convenient, we decided to combine the best of both worlds: the cleaning properties of soap and the convenience of sanitisers.
